Both elegant and flattering, the V&A Harebell Shorts are high-waisted and fall to mid-thigh in length, with a generous cut in the leg.
The discreet hook and bar fastening keeps the line of the waist clean so the shorts can be worn as is over a bodysuit, or complemented by your choice of belt through the belt loops.
And they're as practical as they are beautiful with their side pockets.
This design is inspired by the ethos and aesthetic of the Arts and Crafts Movement and features an all-over pattern called Maidenhair and Harebell originally designed in 1929 for a textile by C.F.A. Voysey (1857-1941).
This garment was made by Creative Handicrafts, an organisation which supports women in India by providing employment and fair wages.
The fabric is made from organic cotton using methods that have a low impact on the environment.
