Its beautiful pattern is based on a floral wallpaper from the V&A's collection, originally designed by Kate Faulkner (1842–98), a member of Morris & Company's design studio, in 1879. Mallow conveys sophistication and originality thanks to the combination of timeless Arts and Crafts appeal and a versatile monochrome palette..

People Tree and Rajlakshmi believe both in social sustainability as well as environmental sustainability, which is why we choose organic cotton. Organic cotton is grown without the use of insecticides, pesticides and nitrogen fertilisers. Not only does this reduce the cost by 38% for farmers, but it also protects them from being exposed to toxic chemicals and eliminates the greenhouse gas emissions created though the production of these chemical fertilizers. Through organic farming, soils remain healthy and sequester more carbon helping to mitigate climate change. Water consumption is reduced up to 91%, and there is a 40% reduction of C02 emissions per tonne of cotton fibre.

KTS artisans create beautiful garments using traditional handskills such as hand knitting and embroidery. KTS enable over 2000 hand knitters, mainly women, to earn a fair price for their work and to receive technical training. Profits from Fair Trade are put back into the KTS community, including the running of an orphanage and school for 250 children.
